The latest James Halliday Wine Companion book has just been published. The overall rating of our wines was 4 stars out of 5 with the Cabernet Sauvignon receiving a rating of 91 out of a 100. In summary of our wines James Halliday writes, "The quality of the first release is all one could hope for".

CABERNET SAUVIGNON - Excellent cassis/blackcurrant varietal character; medium-bodied, with gently ripe tannins; balanced oak. Rating 91 Drink 2012.

2003 RIESLING - Aromatic lime, herb and spice; limey mid-palate, minerally finish. Screwcap. Rating 89 Drink 2010.

2003 CHARDONNAY (Unwooded) - Tangy Citrus and stone fruit; bright acidity; good length, well above average. Screwcap. Rating 87 Drink 2009.

2002 MERLOT - Well made; small red fruit berries; subtle oak; neatly balanced. Rating 87 Drink 2009.

2003 PINOT NOIR - Light to medium-bodied; clear varietal character in spicy/savoury spectrum; good length and finish. Rating 88, Drink 2008.
